| The designation "Mega Flare" was chosen by Kevin Loch when the status monitor was created on March 4, 1999. There is no "official" designation for flares in this range. |

| The once majestic "Clarkdale Mansion" before, then during the fatal fire of 2010. The mansion was built over Peck's Lake in the 1930s by William "Tersius" Clark, the grandson of W. A. Clark who established the rich United Verde Mine. The building had been unoccupied for some time and was repeatedly vandalized. The fire suspiciously started sometime before 5am on June 25th, 2010, and completely destroyed the building. www.verdenews.com |
