| 8:30-9:00 am Check In 9:00am Continental Breakfast will be served. 9:10am - 9:30am History of Jerome Arizona Thea Dunning-T.Az.P.S. Director of Historical Research, will talk about the early history of Jerome. 9:30 am to 11:00am Presentation of evidence collected in Jerome Results of T.Az.P.S. Investigations conducted at The Jerome Palace - Haunted Hamburger Restaurant, The Liberty Theater and the The Jerome Grand Hotel will be discussed. * Speakers at conference will consist of: Frank Madrid-President and Founder of The Arizona Paranormal Society will start with an introduction to "The Arizona Paranormal Society". Frank will also discuss the different characteristics of a haunting and how T.Az.P.S. Categorizes a haunting based on the activity reported. Lori Marshall-Vice President and Co-Founder of "The Arizona Paranormal Society" will speak about Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) and the different methods used to collect and analyze the data and will also discuss the grading system associated with EVP and what each classification consists of. Gino Madrid-T.Az.P.S. Lead Investigator and Administrator will discuss the psychological aspects of paranormal activity. He will discuss the effect of paranormal activity on the human psyche and how the human mind can be influenced by multiple factors such as prescription and non-prescription drugs in addition to some psychological disorders that may lead a person to believe there may be activity present in their home. Randy Arbogast-Case Manager and Director of Technology will discuss the different types of equipment that T.Az.P.S. uses during investigations. He will explain what the equipment does and the results that may be expected from such equipment. Randy will also be available during the workshop to demonstrate some of the unique key pieces of equipment that he has developed for T.Az.P.S. At the end of the presentations, there will be a Q&A period to follow. 11:00am - 12:00pm Ghost Hunting Workshop Conference guests will have the chance to work with Electromagnetic Field meters and Infrared Thermometers throughout the old hospital to try and gather their own paranormal readings. Groups will have full access to the entire hospital as well as the old morgue located on the 2nd floor. Guests are encouraged to bring their own audio records and cameras to conduct EVP sessions and try to capture photographic evidence of their own. 12:00pm - 12:30pm Walk to The Jerome Palace/Haunted Hamburger Here, conference guests will see where T.Az.P.S investigator Annie Preston captured the full bodied apparition of a woman in the second story window. This building has been used as a private residence, bar, brothel, rooming house for miners and offices for the United Verde Mine executives. 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm Group will break for lunch. There are many wonderful restaurants to choose from in Jerome. Guests will be on their own for lunch and can choose to eat at the Haunted Hamburger or one of the many other establishments in the immediate vicinity. At 2:00pm, guests will meet back at the Park just up the road from The Jerome Palace-Haunted Hamburger and the tour will resume. 2:00pm - 4:15pm Walk to the"Cribs" as well as a Visit to the Liberty Theater, Old Jail and the Bank Guests will be taken to the old cribs where the "Ladies of the Evening" would entertain their clients. Guests will then be led up the hill to the Liberty Theater. Guests can shop for souvenirs while visiting in the gift shop. Entering through the gift shop, guests can ascend the stairs inside the theater to see the 1918 movie theater that has been restored / preserved just as it was almost 100 years ago. The Liberty Theater featured silent movies and vaudeville acts until its closing in 1929. Click here to be directed to the Liberty Theater website. Guest will also be led past the Old Jerome Jail and the Old Jerome Bank. 4:15pm End of Tour At the end of the tour, the trolley will make one last run. This last trolley ride will carry interested guests up to the magnificent Jerome Grand Hotel. While at the Jerome Grand Hotel, guests can enjoy the wonderful cuisine at the Asylum Restaurant (click on link for menu) or stop off for a glass of wine from their award winning wine menu in the beautiful Asylum bar. * Speakers are subject to change |
