| Residential Investigation Buckeye, AZ Case # R-101a & b 01/26/07 & 02/10/07 Investigators: Frank Madrid, Lori Marshall, Gino Madrid, Bill Allen, Brittany Valead, Jim Koch, Casey Hall Location: Private Residence Occupants: 2 Adults, 3 children Structure Type: Double Wide Mobile Home (age 7 years old) Length of time that the client has lived on the property just over a year. |

| Description of first contact with client in regard to investigation: We received an investigation request via our websites “contact us” page by the current homeowner’s mother in regard to the activity that they believed was taking place in their residence. We then contacted the homeowner directly by phone to conduct an interview so that we could learn more about the observed activity they claimed to be experiencing. The following activity being experienced was relayed to us during the interview: The wife complained of tapping and knocking on the walls at night after having gone to bed, she felt as if she were being held down and pinned to her bed, she had seen a shadow between her bedroom door and her 3 month olds bedroom door, her sister who also lives at the house complained of having her hair pulled while sitting on the couch in the family room and of hearing voices in the home as well. The wife said that the cabinet doors under the kitchen sink would bang open and shut. The homeowner, sister and cousin also stated that in one area of the house, they would feel a cold spot in one specific area of the family room even while the heater in the house was on. Some other reported activity consisted of items being thrown to the floor from the top of her two son’s dresser and an electronic picture frame in the master bedroom that had a recording play when a button was pushed, would turn on and would play the recording on it’s own. The homeowner also stated that one night while giving her oldest son a shower, she stated that he looked over her shoulder and was literally scared stiff. She reported that she had seen an old man in the house who she claims resided in the master bathroom area of the home and believes that this may have been who her son saw while taking a shower. Since that day, her son refuses to take a shower. She said that up to that point, her son loved taking showers but will not go near the shower anymore. The homeowner’s mother reportedly saw an old mans face reflecting back at her in the large screen television in the family room. The homeowner stated that there had always been a little activity in the house that had started shortly after they moved into the home a little over a year ago but she said that the activity really picked up after her youngest son was born 3 months ago. The homeowner also reported seeing the shadow figure that would pass along the entertainment center in the master bedroom and go into the baby’s room. She said that she saw the figure once in some detail and described it as looking like a man but its demeanor was very feminine. She said that the only way that she could describe it was that it looked like a "man in drag". After conducting the initial interview, we set up an appointment for January 26th 2007 to conduct the investigation. We contacted the most qualified investigative team for this assignment and gathered at a central location to discuss the activity being reported and worked out the specific details on how to conduct the investigation. After arriving at the location, the homeowner gave us a tour of the house and showed us the areas where the activity had been witnessed. After the tour of the property was complete, the team proceeded to set up the cameras and trigger objects in response to the lead investigators instructions. With equipment in place, the lead investigator toured the home and proceeded to gather and record base readings through out the property. Once the gathering of base reading was completed, we started the investigation and went lights out. Frank, Jim, the home owner, her cousin and Casey went into the Master bedroom to start EVP session while Lori, Brittany, Gino, and the home owner’s mother went into the family room / kitchen area to see if they could capture any of the reported activity that was witnessed in those two rooms. Bill sat in the boy’s room to try and capture some of the activity that was reported in there. There were night vision video cameras set up in the Living room pointed to the open room and the boy’s bedroom door. There was another night vision camera set up in the dining room pointed toward the family room and kitchen. In addition, there were two more night vision cameras set up in the master bedroom with the investigators. All of these cameras were set up with the sole purpose of video taping the investigators during the investigation in hopes that something would be caught on camera. Frank, Jim and Casey began asking questions in the master bedroom to see if they could obtain any EVP in the room. They asked a series of questions in regard to who or what maybe in the house and asked that the entity make some kind of noise, whatever it may be capable of doing, so that they could set up a means of communication. During the session, Frank asked, “What is it that you want here”? In response to that question we captured, “The Son”. This was very interesting since the homeowner had three young boys. When we played this audio clip for the homeowner, she became a little concerned and wondered why the voice would say, “the son”. We did not know if the spirit was referring to her children or not. Soon after that EVP, we captured another EVP that seemed to direct a statement directly to us while we were in close proximity to the video camera in the living room. The same voice that said, “The Son”, proceeded to say, “You’re all so stupid” as we were leaving the room. In the family room, Lori, Gino and Brittany sat quietly and listened carefully to see if they could hear the footsteps that were reported in the kitchen or if they might witness the cabinets banging open and closed. While they sat in the family room, they were able to experience the cold spot that the homeowner reported. It was in exactly the same spot as the homeowner claimed it to be, right between the rocking chair and the couch. The strange thing was that when the investigators lifted their hand to high into the cold spot, they would lose it. If they lowered their hands to low, they lost it as well. The cold spot was confirmed to be stationary and was reading up to nine degrees cooler than the rest of the room. Pictures were taken throughout the night during the investigation both outside and in. There were quite a few intriguing pictures produced. While taking pictures in the Master Bedroom where the majority of the activity was taking place, a picture of the T.V. where the shadow had been seen, produced what seems to be a man in a suit and a child’s face over his shoulder reflecting back to us in the TV. In the same picture when we zoomed out further, we can see a white light mist traveling between the bed and the TV. A little while later, one of our other investigators went into the master bedroom to get some pictures and captured a shadow being projected onto the TV screen to the right side. The investigator taking the picture was not in a position to be casting a shadow onto the TV screen when this picture was taken. All of the lights in the room were off. The only light in the room was from the flash of the camera. After enhancing this picture a bit further, we noticed a disturbing face emerge in the TV screen. This corresponds with the homeowners claim that she had seen a shadow pass in front of the TV and the entertainment center on many different occasions. The homeowner also reported seeing a full apparition ( once) at the foot of her bed in front of the doors that lead to the baby's room. She described what she saw as what appeared to be a man dressed in "drag". She said that this figure looked like a man with semi long scraggly hair and held itself in a very feminine way. This could explain the shadows that we got on our video and pictures throughout the investigation. One of our investigators also caught a strange light anomaly on the Master Bedroom entertainment center as well. We proceeded throughout the night to take pictures both inside and outside of the house. It seems that there were pictures to be gained from the outside of the house as well. It appears that when an investigator took a picture of one of the Master Bedroom windows outside, a mans face was captured looking out of the window. After spending close to 5 hours at the residence, we decided to start packing up and left the residence at 2:30am. After the little amount of evidence that we obtained at this residence, we felt that another investigation may be in order to see if we could get more. |
| soon after were still experiencing activity in the home. The wife's step-father, who is a Native American, arranged to have a medicine woman come into the house to cleanse the residence of any spirits that had been active in the home. The medicine woman had no knowledge of the kind of activity that was going on in the house nor did she have any knowledge that we had been there to conduct an investigation of the activity that was being experience in the house. This means she did not have any knowledge of the evidence that was collected during our investigation. The homeowner reported to me that when the medicine woman initial walked through the front door she said that there was the spirit of an old man and a child present in the house. She said that there was also a woman present as well and another child spirit that always remained outside. When the homeowner conveyed this information to us, we were very excited. For us, this confirms the old man in the suit and the child that we had caught in the TV of the master bedroom. We were a little confused about the reference to the woman but the medicine woman was about to explain that for us too. The following is the story that the medicine woman conveyed to the homeowners which they later told us: At some point in time, there was a house that sat somewhere on the property that was now occupied by the current owner. She said that at one time in this house, there lived a family consisting of a Man, a Woman, and their twin sons. At some point, the mother died and went to heaven. Leaving the man to raise his two young sons. Unfortunately, a fire broke out at the home and the man was only able to save one of his sons. The medicine woman stated that the son that died was the one that stayed outside of the house at all times. The medicine woman then continued to say that one day a social worker came to the house to collect the other son but never left the home. This again makes more since to us in regard to the evidence we collect. The EVP that we captured was explained after the medicine woman gave us this story. When Frank asked, " What is it that you want here?", we got the EVP, "the son". This EVP now made sense to us. It was the social worker we were communicating with. She had been there to collect the son but never left the house. "The Son" was in reference to the man's second son, not one of the homeowners sons. The social worker was still trying to do her job and collect the son. It also made sense to us that this must have been the spirit that the homeowner described as the "man in drag". She had said that the figure had somewhat masculine features but held itself in a feminine manner. Things were starting to come together. The medicine woman had no idea of what the wife had seen and no idea of the evidence we had gathered. The medicine woman then proceeded to cleanse the house and sent both the father and the two sons to heaven. After that, she sent the social worker on her way as well. After all was said and done, the homeowner told the medicine woman about our investigation. The medicine woman said that up to the time of our investigation, the father and the son could not find each other. However, during our investigation, we were responsible for helping them find each other. The medicine woman stated that once they found each other, they were willing to let her help them cross over to the other side. The medicine woman said the social worker was more of a challenge but she finally got her to go as well. Before the medicine woman left, she gave the family instructions to follow that would prevent other spirits from moving in. According to her, the land the house now sits on is very activity with spiritual activity. She pointed out that they live at the base of the mountain where the Caterpillar proving grounds are located. She said that many lives have been lost up there due to accidents and that if they did not follow her directions, more spirits could be drawn to their home. One of the most important things that the homeowners had to do was stay in the house. She said that spirits are attracted to empty houses and buildings. If they chose to leave the home after she left, there was a chance that other spirits would move in due to the lack of activity in the home. The medicine woman had the homeowners place arrow tips over certain windows in the house to redirect any spirits that may try to reenter the home and gave the homeowners specific directions that they physically had to carry out in order to ensure that the cleansing was effective. Unfortunately, the wife was still too uncomfortable to stay in the home at night by herself. Her husband worked late at night, usually not getting home until about three or four in the morning. She elected to stay at her mothers house after the medicine woman left. It was not until about 3 or 4 days after the cleansing that she stayed at home the first night her husband was off work. By then, it was too late. They started encountering activity again and called us back out for another investigation. |
| A second investigation was conducted on 02/10/07 which was inconclusive. Unfortunately, there wasn't any other evidence obtained from this second investigation. |
