General Impressions and activity reported:

The A-Advance Storage Facility is a large, very well kept business that is very clean and nicely
cooled. It has two stories, covered parking and a very nice two bedroom apartment. The manager
is a nice woman who has been living there with her son for a long time. The apartment is cozy and
neat, but there is some history of a few untimely deaths that occurred there.
There was a suicide that had taken place before the client moved in.

Also, a gentleman had died there of a heart attack in 1998.
Activity seems to happen after midnight....some of the activity reported are...
The television goes on and off by itself,
phantom odors of pipe tobacco and cologne,
the cat, now deceased, had been seen chasing unseen things and staring at the wall,
the maintenance man claimed that small BB sized pellets of glass would pelt him on more than
one occasion as well as being tripped and hearing sounds of whispering and laughing and light
covers in the hallways would randomly drop to the floor.
investigation reports:

We arrived at 8:10 pm. We proceeded to talk to the caretaker and she showed us the whole area
we would be investigating. She also told us a story about the maintenance man cleaning and
getting small pellets of glass thrown at him. The client also showed us what she believed to be
one of these pellets. After talking to her, we started setting up.

The DVR was stationed in the center of the building next to elevators. The cameras were set up
as well, (one facing up the hall and the other facing down the hall), this was duplicated on the
other side of the building as well.

Audio:
ET was sitting on top of the east hall fire extinguisher cabinet.

STAT was on top of the west hall fire extinguisher cabinet.

CAM audio was on my camera.

TAzPRS energy emitting device placement:
BFME was placed at the southern end of west hall.

EARTH set in west hall under stat audio.

TAzPRS ion generator was placed in the north end of the east hall.

XP3 was placed in the middle of the east hall.

We completed set up and started to investigation at 9:18 pm.

Frank and I went down into parking garage (2 level building) Eric and Angie stayed

up on the second floor at this time.
A shadow was observed by Frank swooshing past the east side of garage, but was not captured
on any media. As we were down there, we thought we heard the sound of a "sliding foot" towards
the west side of building. We investigated the area and found nothing.

After about 20 minutes or so, we headed back up stairs.
We traded areas with Eric and Angie and also turned on the machines. Nothing visual happened
at that point but we did hear faint voices and some noises a couple of times, not uncommon for a
big metal building. Several times we could hear cars and people outside talking.
Frank and I did hear some words and noises while sitting in the middle of one of the passages.
Not a lot happening in the first hour and ten minutes.

-Randy Arbogast - Tech Director-
Whatever activity was going on in this place seemed to be confined to the North West sections.
During the time we were at this storage facility there was no real activity anywhere else.
I am at a loss to explain the random K-2 hits. I was holding the meter approximately three feet
away from me each time an instance occurred. Even when I doubled back to try and

recreate the meter pegging, nothing would happen.
I am also having a difficult time explaining away the two extreme temperature fluctuations. In
both spots, there was zero air movement and we were in an enclosed environment. Plus, it
happened to two different people who felt the same thing and we had thermometer confirmation.
If I had to make a call from a SCIENTIFIC point of view, I would have to say there is no
conclusive evidence that this business is haunted, but I would have to say that it does have
slight amount of paranormal activity. I certainly look forward to returning to this place in
June. This is my third time investigating this storage facility. There always seems to be something
odd going on during each visit. I really do not get the same thing twice. It is going to be sad
when Rose is no longer there and we will not be able to investigate this place any more.

There certainly was a lot more activity than our last visit. This time around we had a light
turning on and off, a motion sensor tripping when asked, odd photos, possible EVPs,

and a quick glimpse of a shadow person. That is just what I can bring to the table.

The most significant event of the evening, to me, was the motion sensor tripping when it did. As I
stated in my notes above, Ken and I were nowhere near the sensor when the alarm went off.
What is even more incredible is the fact that it went off a mere second after Ken said, “make
some noise.” That was either something definitely paranormal or the biggest coincidence I have
ever seen in my life. I have no other rational explanation for the events that transpired here.

Upon listening to the entire digital recording that was set up in the apartment area, there were
several occurrences in which is sounded like an object being moved. These sounds happened
prior to the first set of investigators going in. Once the apartment investigation commenced, I
heard only one occurrence of something being moved. That is also noted above. Then, there is
the one possible EVP associated with an object being dropped or moved. Something strange was
going on and it was out of camera sight. Almost like it was intentional.

As with the previous two times, I have to call it like I see it. This storage facility certainly has
its share of paranormal activity, but without conclusive evidence.
There is no way I can say this place is haunted.

-Eric Wensel - T.Az.P.R.S. Investigator-
On Saturday March 21st we were called out to an investigation at the A- Advantage Storage
Facility. We were split into two groups of two investigators. Eric and I started upstairs while
Randy and Frank went downstairs. We began by doing a walk through to get base readings on
temperature and emf. At about 9:21 pm we rounded the first corner and started walking around
the back side of the facility. We began getting spikes on the emf recorder and my K2 meter. Some
of it we were able to exclude due to power lines, but there were other readings we were unable
to explain. There did not seem to be any specific spot that would cause the spikes which would
allow us to to rule it out as an electrical source. It seems to be sporadic and therefore we
could not pinpoint a cause. We decided to make another round to complete our base readings
and when we got to the back hallway we started getting extreme temperature spikes. Eric at one
point said that his arm felt cold. I held the temperature gun on top of his are and got a reading
of about 75 degrees, I then took a reading on the underside of his arm and it was 58 degrees.
This was also unexplained due to the fact we were not near any air vents, windows or doors that
could create a cold draft. At approximately 10:00 Eric and I went downstairs to investigate. We
started in the NW hallway. We heard what sounded like a lock on one of the storage garages
bang against the door. We tried to recreate it to see if there was any reason that would cause it
to move but were unsuccessful. At about 10:15 we heard very distinctly the sound of someone
running, it specifically sounded like someone running in their bare feet. I noted it to Eric and he
confirmed he also heard it. It was so loud that we expected, at any moment, The Manager to come
around the corner. She did not. I then went out into the garage and called her name to see if
she was somewhere else downstairs. She did not answer and I believe that she was either
upstairs or in her apartment at the time we heard the noise. We asked her later if she had been
downstairs and she stated she was not. About 10 to 20 minutes later we asked if there was
anyone in the hallway with us. Immediately following we got a spike on the K2 meter. It was a
quick spike and did not repeat itself after we asked again. At about 10:40 I asked if there was
anyone in the hall with us if they would try and touch my arm. I immediately felt a very cold
sensation on the top of my hand . I asked Eric to take a temperature reading and a photo. The
temperature below my arm was about 60-62 degrees, the temperature above my arm was between
39- and 41 degrees. Again there were no sources we could find that would cause the
temperature drops. At the end of the evening around 12:30 after Frank and Randy had left the
facility we decided to sit down with Rose and do and evp session. On two different occasions we
asked for some type of response to let us know if someone was with us. The first time we heard
what sounded like a knock on one of the storage doors. Eric asked it to give us two knocks for
confirmation which we did not get. The second time we asked it to make a noise we heard a loud
bang at the end of the hallway. Again we asked for a second knock for confirmation but did not
get it. After reviewing all of my evidence I did not get any photos that were anything but what I
believe to be dust. I have several evps but they are not of quality that I believe Frank would be
able to use them as evidence. Unfortunately because we were unable to get any scientific or
physical evidence I can not in good conscience say that the facility is haunted. I do believe I had
some personal experiences that were unable to be explained away and I had some evidence from
my emf , thermometer and k2 meter. So I personally believe there was something unexplainable
happening to us while we were there but was not able to capture any concrete
evidence for the client.

-Angie Smith - Investigator - TAzPRS
digital photographic evidence:
The area in the living room
where the body of the suicide
victim was found.
The area in the bath room
where the body of the heart
attack victim was found.
This pic was taken outside of the apartment located there. It shows an
unexplained shadow on the right side of the frame. It does look like
something obscured the flash but there wasn't anything there to obscure it.
This was the only pic obtained with anything unexplainable in it.
audio evidence:
"snowflake"
"go now"
"yes i know"
"dead"
"all fall down"
an unknown chuckle
"play"
"no" response
"seeing Jesus for himself"
motion detector goes off
with no one in front of it
"really" response
unknown humming
"yeah"
Investigation videos
Although there were two investigations total, the results are what they are. Some things were
explainable, some things were not. Was contact made? Possibly. Were voices recorded? Yes, but
we have to consider the fact that the storage facility is located right off of a major street in
Phoenix and some "street" sounds were heard as well as people walking by outside. What was
recorded on audio was recorded inside the facility. As far as the facility being haunted, we
would have to conclude that although the possibility of the facility being haunted is there
(from the EVP recorded, meter and temperature fluctuations, noises, whispers, sounds of
footsteps, personal and visual experiences), we were unable to get solid evidence of a haunting.
There were many noises that were attributed to the building. Being cooled internally, the
location next to a major street and the amount of metal and concrete in the building could be a
factor in determining an actual haunting.
perhaps another follow-up investigation may be warranted to determine
whether or not this is the case.

We would like to thank the client for allowing us to investigate this fine establishment!
